Price the equipment and the install separately
The equipment is the supplier's quote plus the markup the company applies to what it resells; the install is hours at the loaded rate plus the ductwork, fittings and consumables from the takeoff. Estimating software that blends the two hides where the margin is; the template on this site takes materials and labor as separate inputs so the lines print separately.

A two-person install crew and a service technician carry different loaded rates, and summer overtime moves both.
